PURPOSE:To apply uniform tension to a sheet in no relation to a change of plate thickness, by forcibly contacting at least one of the pair of friction plates holding the sheet under winding from its both sides to the sheet through a flexible pressing plate with pressure fluid filled under pressure to a pressurized bag. CONSTITUTION:A belt-shaped sheet 1 passes through between guide rollers 4 and is wound to a winding core 3 as a coil 2. Each upper and bottom friction plate 5, 8 is forcibly contacted respectively to both upper and bottom sides of the sheet 1 between the rollers 4. Here, for instance, a bottom side of the plate 8 is secured to a flexible pressing plate 9, and this plate 9 is movably fitted to a pressurized box 11 opened with the top side and fixedly provided onto a base 10, then a pressurized bag 12 is built in a vacant area betwen the plate 9 and a bottom plate 11a of the box 11. In this way, the plate 8 is pressed upward through the plate 9 by pressure of air in the bag 12, and the sheet 1 is held by the plates 5, 8 at fixed pressure in no relation to the plate thickness and applied with prescribed tension. |
