<p>PURPOSE:To prevent external burrs and shorten manufacturing time by such an arrangement wherein on one of two parts, a joint is provided and a notch for coupling with said joint is provided on the internal side of the other part and molten resin is caused to flow into the internal side by instantaneously melting and joining the two parts together. CONSTITUTION:A horn 2 fixed to the horn converter of a supersonic welding machine is moved in the direction of arrow A, a guide block 5 is caused to move in the direction of arrow B by the cooperative action of the guide surface 2a and the slope 5a of the slide block 5, and also a joint 3b of a float 3 is coupled with a notch 4b of a float 4. Simultaneously, the joint 3b and the notch 4b are melted and joined together instantaneously by giving supersonic wave to their coupled area. Consequently, synthetic resin melted at the time of joining is caused to flow inward along the slope 4c and solidified and the formation of external burrs is prevented by the holder of the slide block 5 and the slope 4c at the lower end of the notch 4b and there is no necessity for providing an air vent hole and using a split type metal mold.</p> |
