Mixtures of optical brighteners consisting of (a) 1 to 99 weight % of one or several compounds of the formula 1 <IMAGE> (1) (b) 99 to 1 weight % of one or several compounds of the formula 2 <IMAGE> (2) wherein n is 0 or 1, X is oxygen or sulfur, B is a group of the formulae <IMAGE> +TR <IMAGE> and the other substituents are defined a specified in the description.
