PURPOSE:To decrease the frequency of switching to desired functions, by providing a digital display part, function changeover switch, and function operating means, and inverting the order of function switching according to the time operating the changeover switch. CONSTITUTION:An oscillating circuit 1b generates a reference clock, whcih is frequency-divided by a frequency divider 2b and inputted to a counter 3b for hour, minute, second, and date counting; and the resulting signal is passed through a decoder 6b and a driver 7b to be displayed at a digital display part 8b. According to whether the one-second display of the display part 8b is even or odd, a corresponding signal from the counter 3b or decoder 6b is inputted to a function switching order circuit 9b. At this time, when the function changeover switch 10b is operated, the order of function switching is inverted by the circuit 9b according to whether said one-second display is even or odd. A user operates 10b during even or odd one-second display while considering the operation freuquency of the switch 10b to select a desired function in a short time. |
