The invention provides a method for the winning of peat out of moss, in which the peat is sucked out as a mixture of solids and water, when the mixture of solids and water present ready in the moss is sucked by means of a suction pipe so that the mouth of the suction pipe is placed underneath the surface layer of the moss between the surface and the bottom of the peat bed. |
