PURPOSE:To improve the service to subscribers, by urging automatically the release of a permanent loop state to a subscriber under the permanent loop state and then calling the subscriber after monitoring and detecting the release of the permanent loop state. CONSTITUTION:An incoming trunk SPICT receives the information on a permanent loop state, i.e., the lockout state of a called subscriber SUB and then gives a howler tone to a calling subscriber of the remote station to urge the release of the lockout state as well as to monitor the release of the lockout state of the called SUB. When the trunk SPICT detects the release of the lockout state, the called SUB is called out and at the same time the talkie service is stopped to the calling subscriber of the remote station. Then a calling tone is transmitted to show that the called SUB is called. |
