摘要 PURPOSE:To increase the compression ratio and to transmit the rotation smoothly without using a crank shaft by providing a pair of fan-shaped preceding and succeeding rotors in a cylindrical case so that a combustion chamber enclosed between both rotors is made minimum at compression and discharge strokes. CONSTITUTION:If a combustion chamber 7 is at a suction stroke when an engine is started, the small diameter portion of a gear 17 is engaged with the large diameter portion of a gear 20 and a rotary shaft 3 is rotated faster than a rotary shaft 5, thereby a preceding rotor 4 is moved faster than a succeeding rotor 6, the chamber 7 is expanded and the fuel is sucked through a suction port 13, and when the capacity of the chamber 7 is made maximum, a hole 13 is blocked by the outer peripheral surface of the rotor 6 and the suction stroke is completed. Next, the large diameter portion of the gear 17 is engaged with the small diameter portion of the gear 20, the rotary shaft 5 is rotated faster than the rotary shaft 3 and the rotor 4 is moved slower than the rotor 6, thereby the capacity of the chamber 7 is made small and the fuel is compressed, thus the compression action immediately in front of an ignition plug 15 is made greatest, and the plug 15 is ignited to explode. As a result of this expansion, the chamber 7 is again expanded, the gear 17 is engaged with the gear 20, the shaft 3 is rotated faster than the shaft 5, and the chamber is shrinked to discharge through a discharge port 14.
