PURPOSE:To improve the cleaning effect, by using a cleaning roll where the number of cells of a foaming resin on the surface layer is a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:When the number of cells of the foaming resin on the surface layer of a cleaning roll 2 which is turned in press contacting with an image carrier 1 is set to more than 30/inch, a toner is not put into cells to sweep off the toner of carrier and to improve a cleaning effect. |
