PURPOSE:To prevent a section line from being marked onto the surface to be polished by using, as a broad polishing wheel, a plural number of polishing wheels each notched on one sectional radial line extending from the outer periphery to the middle part of the center rings of said polishing wheel while incorporating them together. CONSTITUTION:A plural number of polishing wheels A are fitted to one rotary shaft S, incorporated with each other, and formed into a broad polishing wheel. When the notches 4, 4 of the adjacent polishing wheels A are then made to accord with each other, both the polishing wheels A make contact with each other over their whole spiral sides, the outer peripheral surfaces of the polishing materials 1 of the respective polishing wheels are inclined in their rotary direction, and joined together with each other to form one spiral band as a whole. |
