PURPOSE:To absorb and attenuate the generated noise by a method wherein a plate-like vibration absorbing member, made of a viscoelastic material such as rubber or the like, and a metallic plate are put on the side face of the gear in the gear train, which generates noise, and are secured thereto by a securing means to integrate them. CONSTITUTION:The vibration absorbing plate 22 of an elastic vibration absorbing material is adhered to one side face of a gear element 14, to which a noise reducing means is applied, so as to surround the output shaft of a motor. The strong metallic plate 24 is secured to the gear element 14 by the screws of bolts or the like so that the metallic plate 24 is stacked on the vibration absorbing plate 22. The thickness and the width of the annular section of the vibration absorbing plate 22 are selected properly in order to select the noise attenuating effect to a proper level. |
