PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a tape, by setting the forward shift component larger than the horizontal shift component in the first half then the horizontal shift component larger than the forward shift component in the latter half respectively in terms of a shift locus from the inserting position to a lead-out position of a tape. CONSTITUTION:Tape lead-out members 70 and 71 are set at left and right side of an adaptor, and the member 71 has a horizontal shift amount larger than the member 70 during a distance from the inserting position to the lead-out position of a tape. For the member 71, the forward shift component is set larger than the horizontal shift component in the first half and vice versa in terms of a shift locus P from the inserting position to the lead-out position of the tape. Therefore the member 71 never touches the front edge, etc. of a tape cartridge 2 at the inserting position through the lead-in position of the tape. This can aviod the damage of the tape. |
