PURPOSE:To ensure stable travelling of a tape and to perform recording/reproducing with high fidelity, by using a material obtained by compousing the thermoplastic resin such as ABS resin, etc., the metallic powder of Zn, etc. or its oxide, a lubricant and the reinforcing fibers respectively to produce a guide roll of tape cassette. CONSTITUTION:A composite material is obtained by mixing 150-500pts.wt. metallic powder of Zn, Al, Fe, etc. or its oxide is mixed with 100pts.wt. such as ABS, polyamide or acetal resin with addition of an additive of 1pts.wt. lubricant of calcium stearate, etc. and a reinforcing agent of 1-50pts.wt. aromatic polyamide fibers, etc. Such a composite material is molded to produce a guide roll 3 of a tape cassette 1. As a result, the heat contraction factor is reduced for the roll 3 and the lubricity is improved. This ensures stable travelling of a type 2 with virtually no change produced between the roll 3 and inside shafts 1a. In addition, the vibrations of the tape 2 are absorbed since the weight of the composite material is large. Thus the recording/repoducing is performed with high fidelity. |
