Method of making seat cushion - uses roll of flexible filling fed into cover with flexible sheet outer covering

The method is for forming a cushion, either a complete seat, back, or arm rest. A roll of flexible filling is placed, overhanging, at one end of a work table (10). Its size allows it to enter a cover which fits around it and is surrounded by a flexible sheet (143). Atmospheric pressure is reduced under the sheet, to flatten it and to introduce it into the cover, with the filling. The sheet is then cut and the complete cushion is withdrawn. A vacuum pump (12) is fitted in the support frame (11) for the work table.
