PURPOSE:To improve the conductivity of a positive electrode tablet and a positive electrode can and to obtain a thin closed cell with low internal resistance and excellent discharge characteristics at a low temperature and a heavy load by arranging a conductive member in contact with the peripheral surface of the positive electrode tablet and the bottom surface in the positive electrode can. CONSTITUTION:The side wall internal surface of a positive electrode can 21 is in contact with the outer peripheral surface of a gasket 22, and the outer peripheral surface of the erect portion of a conductive ring 24a, i.e., conductive member 24, is in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the gasket 22, and the outer periphery is pinched between the bottom surface of the gasket 22 and the inner bottom surface of the positive electrode can 21 in parallel with the bottom surface of the positive electrode can 21, in addition, the inner peripheral surface of the erect portion is in contact with the outer peripheral surface of a positive electrode tablet 23 inserted inside.
