<p>PURPOSE:To change automatically the attribute of a related field during the operation of a user program, by providing special information at a field of a screen defining matter and a message control information region respectively. CONSTITUTION:When a user designates ''Y'' at an area of a changed field, a screen control part buries ''Y'' to a field information region of a screen defining matter in the form of a changed field 23. Each bit of the field position information 31 of a message operation region corresponds to the order of changed fields within a group which is defined by the screen defining matter. The user turns on the bit of the field position information corresponding to the field to be changed during the operation of a user program and then sets the attribute at the araea of the processing type. The screen control part retrieves the field information and performs the editing of data for only the designated field. Thus the attribute of a field is changed.</p> |
