PURPOSE:To facilitate quick and stabilized follow-up sharp load change by installing a pressure device between a cell and a reformer in consideration of the difference of response of the cell and the reformer. CONSTITUTION:Carbon monoxide of a hydrogen rich gas 103 generated with a reformer 202 is removed with a shift convertor 203, then the hydrogen rich gas 103 is pressurized, and fed to a pressure tank 209. A fuel cell 205 opens or closes a cell inlet hydrogen adjusting valve 204 according to load variation to take in the required amount of hydrogen. Pressurized hydrogen in the pressure tank 209 can be used as auxiliary fuel when a load is increased or at starting by opening and closing an auxiliary valve 210. By this process, since the fuel cell 205 and the reformer 202 are controlled independently, quick and stabilized follow-up to sharp load change can be realized. |
