PURPOSE:To improve the defrosting efficiency of the titled air conditioner by a method wherein in the case of the air cooling heat pump type air conditioner provided with two coolant circuits, heat transfer pipes belonging to two cooling cycles, respectively, are arranged mixedly with each other with respect to the fins of a room heat exchanger and a three-phase motor is so used that the connection of the motor can be changed. CONSTITUTION:The heat transfer pipes belonging to the first cooling cycle and the second cooling cycle are arranged mixedly with each other so that the fins of the room heat exchanger 12 are utilized by the heat transfer pipes in an alternative fashion. Further, a blower 13 attached with the three-phase motor is stopped for a time or the connection of the motor is changed to reduce the torque on the motor is reduced temporarily. Thus, it is possible with the above structure to improve the defrosting efficiency of the air conditioner. |
