<p>PURPOSE:To contrive to reduce the consumption unit of coke required in sintering, by adjusting compounding coke to a proper particle size from the analysis value of the exhaust gas from an endless type continuous sintering machine. CONSTITUTION:In forming a sintering stock material layer 6 by respectively supplying a main stock material, coke with an average particle size of about 16mm. and coke with an average particle size of about 2.4mm. to an endless continuous sintering machine 7 from hoppers 1, 2, 3 through a mixer 4 and an ore supply hopper 5, a sintering exhaust gas sucked by a main exhaust fan 9 is analyzed by a gas sampling apparatus 10 and a gas analyzer 11 provided to the main duct 8 of the sintering machine 7. To the obtained analysis value, the compensation of a CO2 component generated from limestone, dolomite, a return ore and fuel other than compounding coke is applied to determine a CO*2% generated only from coke while a coke gas utilizing ratio etaCO is operated from formula eta*CO=CO*2%/(CO%+CO*2%)X100 by an operator 12 and the supplies of cokes from the hoppers 2, 3 are controlled by a controller 13 so as to bring eta*CO to a range of a definite set value to adjust the particle size of coke.</p> |
