PURPOSE:To reduce the vehicle width of a truck for aiming at reducing the cost of transportation, by carrying out the transportation of trucks in such a way that outer tyres are removed from the rear wheels of the truck which comprises of double tyres, and these outer tyres are fixed on a frame for supporting thereon a carrier device. CONSTITUTION:Upon carrying out the marine transportation etc. of trucks with the use of, for example, a cargo ship, which truck is provided with rear wheels having double tyres but is not yet mounted with a carrier device for cargo, etc., the vehicle width of each truck is decreased by removing the outer tyres 5a of the rear wheels 5 from a rear axle beam 12, and as well the removed outer tyres are set on a frame 2 for supporting the carrier device for cargo etc. and is secured to the frame 2 with the use of a holder 6 which is separately formed. And thereafter, the trucks are loaded on the cargo ship for transportation. Accordingly not only the loading work of the trucks onto the ship can be easily made but also the occupied area by each truck with respect to the loading space of the ship is accordingly reduced, thereby the cost of transportation becomes cheap. |
