PURPOSE:To prevent the foul use of a magnetic card, by assigning a duty of an input of the card secret number as well as the use of a responsible person card to the responsible person who owns the card at least when a magnetic card producing device starts its operation. CONSTITUTION:An operator puts a key into an operator keyhole 15 and turns it to the right to apply a power supply. Thus a CPU41 executes a program stored in an ROM50 based on the state of operation of a keyboard 30. When a magnetic card producing device 10 is started, a responsible person puts a starting responsible person card 1 into a card slit 16. Then the recording data is read out of the card 1 and then stored in a storage region. When this data is coincident with the reference data, the input card is decided to be identical with the card 1. Then the secret number is fed. Then the device 10 is started when the input secret number is identical with that recorded on the card 1. |
