PURPOSE:To perform the analysis of immunity simply and rapidly by using a very small quantity of a sample by a method wherein a composition acting peculiarly on a component to be measured is held by macromolecular particles which are joined in the shape of a layer on one wall of a vessel in such a manner that they have communicating gaps among them, and the layer of the particles is made to absorb a liquid sample by capillarity. CONSTITUTION:Macromolecular particles are made to hold an acting composition such as an antibody (antigen) acting peculiarly on an antigen (antibody), etc. or a reagent required for measuring a substance produced by antigen-antibody reaction with color reaction, fluorescence or the like, and an acting layer 3 is formed by joining said particles in the shape of a layer on a bearing body 1 forming a vessel 2, for instance, in such a manner that they are close to each other and have communicating gaps among them. Then, by using a spacer 22, a member 21 is joined with a space 4 left in such a manner that an opening 5 and an air hole 6 are provided, and thereby a vessel for analysis is prepared. The opening 5 is dipped in a liquid sample (serum, urine, etc.), and thereby the sample is absorbed uniformly in the layer 3 by capillarity. Next, the bearing body 1 is separated, its coloration, fluorescence or the like is measured, and thus the simple and rapid analysis of immunity is enabled. The shape of the vessel, the position of junction of the particles, etc. can be selected appropriately. |
