PURPOSE:To secure a cutting carrying no burrs as well as being small in a camber and/or a bend, if any by allowing a plate mateial through a pair of rolls formed in a stepped cylindrical or conical shape, subsequently pushing back the stepped part for cutting. CONSTITUTION:A roll 13 has a large diametral part 3 and small diametral parts 5 and 7 while it is provided with stepped parts 9 and 11. Likewise, a roll 14 has large diametral parts 6 and 8 and a small diametral part 4, and is provided with stepped parts 10 and 12. When workpart plate material 15 is rolled out between these rolls 13 and 14, steps 16 and 17 in a state of being still unseparated are formed up on the plate material. Then, when the plate material 15 is forced to throuh a pair of flat rolls 18 and 19, these stepped parts 16 and 17 are pushed pass back, causing cracks from which the plate material is cut and separated. |
