<p>The water heater consists of a metal absorber tube (11) in which is installed an insulated reservoir (15) which is offset, in plan, so that it is against one side of the absorber tube. A fluid connection (17) exists between the reservoir and the cavity between it and the absorber. This assembly is contained within a shell consisting of a transparent front section (32) and a reflecting rear section (31). The absorber receives direct and reflected radiation. The curvature of the reflecting surface is such as to maximise the radiation on the absorber.</p> |
