<p>Device for fixing an accessory, particularly a rearview mirror on a windshield or a window of a vehicle, wherein the accessory comprises a support member which is mounted by a connection means on a base plate secured to the windshield or to the window by sticking. The base plate (5) made of plastic material comprises a metal element (7) of which one face (7c) forms the sticking surface of the base plate to the windshield (6).
