A viewing frame for a film section containing at least one picture, the film section having, outside the picture area, at least one magnetic track which is parallel to one picture side and which, in the event of the presence of a number of pictures on the film section, extends along picture sides of the pictures, which are flush with one another, is designed in such a manner that the viewing frame (3) is formed by a plate which has picture window cutouts (3a) corresponding to the picture areas of the pictures (1a) and, on the side (3b) facing the film section (1), a recess (3c) for insertion flush with this side of the film section (1), and that, in the extension of the magnetic track or magnetic tracks (2) of the film section (1), which is inserted into the recess (3c), there is likewise provided on the side (3b) having the recess (3c), in the frame edge region projecting over the film section (1), a number of magnetic tracks (4) corresponding to the number of and flush with the magnetic tracks (2) on the film section (1). <IMAGE>
