PURPOSE:To make it possible to set the negative and low load at a low value by theickning the concentration of pulveized coal in any coal burner nozzle on a side heated by flame from adjacent corner and thinning the same on a side facing the furnace wall. CONSTITUTION:Upon injecting pulverized coal from coal burner nozzles 2 provided at corners A-D, the concentration of pulverized coal at any coal burner nozzle 2 is thickened on a side heated by flame from adjacent corner and a side facing the furnace walls 3-6 is thinned, thus pulverized coal is burnt. As a method of applying the above mentioned thick and thin concnetration to the pulverized coal injected from coal burner nozzles 2, a method in which respective pulverized coal supply pipe 1 ae bent towards the same direction along the horizontal plane and the centrifugal force is utilized, or a method in which a deflector block 7 is mounted within the pulverized coal supply pipe 1 to generate thick or thin concentration of pulverized coal, or the like can be employed. |
