Spherical solar cell central power station - has six glass domes with lenses and photocells above ground and sealed chamber below surface

Half of the spherical power station is below ground level and half on the surface. The underground half is made of metal with an hermatically sealed compartment for thermal isolation. It contains the thermal store, vapour generator, turbine, alternator and condenser. The surface half is composed of six superposed thick glass domes, each with thick glass lenses directed towards the spherical boiler which is at the centre of the domes. The boiler is connected to the thermal store commencing a thermal cycle for electric current production. Between the lenses are placed large dia. photocells which produce electric current directly. The two halves of the sphere are separated by a platform covered with thick glass to form a lens.
