<p>The door 1' is movable outwardly and upwardly from a closed position to a position in which it is laterally slidable alongside an adjacent fixed- plane body panel. The lower edge of the door 1' is supported by a linkage on a rail 60 in contact with grooved rollers 22' rotatably mounted on the vehicle body. The fixed-plane door is mounted on similar rollers 14'. The linkage is actuated by a lever 24' on the outside of the door 1'. The top edge of the door 1' is mounted by rollers 36' on a rail 78. The rollers 36' are slidable axially along their spindles 76 to allow the door 1' to move upwardly and outwardly during opening.
