PURPOSE:To obtain an electronic beam welding device which is capable of obtaining a prescribed degree of vacuum in a short time, by a vacuum chamber having capacity of the necessary minimum, by constituting 3 vacuum chamber jigs of the upper, intermediate and lower parts, and a vacuum chamber which is aligned with an object to be welded, by a winding sheet on their outside circumferences. CONSTITUTION:When the inside of a vacuum chamber 6 for surrounding an object to be welded 12 is evacuated 17, a sheet 10 is made to tightly adhere to a center vacuum chamber jig 8, and capacity of the chamber 6 is set to the smallest state. Subsequently, when the inside of the chamber 6 has reached a necessary degree of vacuum, an electronic beam gun 3 is moved to a prescribed position, and a disk 12a and a pipe 12c are welded by an electronic beam. In this case, a plate 4 and the upper face of a table 2, and an upper vacuum chamber jig 7 and the lower face of the table 2 are tightly sealed by an ''0'' ring 5 and an ''0'' ring 15, respectively. Also, the part between the upper vacuum chamber jig 7 and 9, and the sheet 10 is clamped by a band 11. Accordingly, it does not occur that air goes into the chamber 6 from these parts. |
