Instead of the normal endeavour to operate a synchronous motor which is supplied from a direct converter at a corresponding current and voltage phase (cos psi =1), in order to reduce the current load on the synchronous motor and on the direct converter, that is to say in order to achieve a smaller connected load overall, the motor is operated at a constant terminal voltage from no-load, accepting a phase angle between the current and the voltage. <IMAGE> |
