PURPOSE:To automatically preset the proper amount of water by a method in which the water amount regulating screw of the moistening device of a rotary press, etc., is turned by a motor on a remote control basis and the amount of water is adjusted according to the amount of ink. CONSTITUTION:A shutter 7 is provided dividedly into plural sections in the widthwise direction in order to adjust the amount of water flying from a brush 4 toward an ink roller 6, and its area 9 is adjusted by a screw 10. The screw 10 is regulated by a small-size motor 12 and its revolving amount is shown by an indicator needle 20 attached to the shaft 19 of a potentiometer 15. When plural screws provided in the widthwise direction of an ink tank are moved by the motor and the amount of ink is adjusted according to patterns to be printed by an independent operational plate, the rotation of the motor 12 is adjusted through the interface according to the adjusted amount of ink is regulated and the amount of water is then regulated. |
