PURPOSE:To prevent an engine from hunting at the time of idling by damping the movement of a rack against a governer force only when a piston of a damper cylinder enters into a damping cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A viscous fluid such as oil or the like is enclosed in a cylinder chamber 14, which consists of a damping cylinder chamber 17 with a larger diameter than a piston 15, and a traveling cylinder chamber 18 with a larger diameter than the chamber 17. The said damping cylinder chamber 17 is arranged on the fuel injection amount reduction side of the traveling cylinder chamber 18. Therefore, when a rack 7 is displaced from th maximum fuel injection amount position to the reduction side in less than a fixed amount, the piston 15 is positioned in the traveling cylinder chadmber 18, and when the rack 7 is positioned on the reduction side of fuel injection amount, the piston 15 enters into the damping cylinder chamber 17. This construction permits to prevent an engine from hunting at the time of idling. |
