PURPOSE:To enable to install room-side and exterior-side heat exchangers in an attic and to perform cooling, heating and outside air cooling operations, by a method wherein room-side and exterior-side units and air passages are integrated into a heat pump unit, and the outside air can be changed over to the room side through a bypass passage. CONSTITUTION:When cooling or heating, a damper 9 is operated to close a connecting port for exterior-side and room-side air passages A, B and an intake port 16 for return air. By this, the outside air taken in through an intake port 15 is discharged to the exterior through the exterior-side air passage A, the exterior-side heat exchanger 3 and an exterior fan 5. Room air is passed through a filter box 35 and a space 34, and is blown off after passing through the room- side heat exchanger 4, a room fan 6, the room-side air passage B and an air- supplying port 38. Between a cooling operation and a heating operation, the functions of the heat exchangers 3, 4 are reveresed. In an outside-air cooling operation, the damper 9 is so operated as to open the intake port 16 to the passage A side, and air in the attic is discharged to the exterior by the exterior fan 5. Accordingly, the heat pump unit can be installed in the attic. |
