<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the weight and size of a copying machine by forming the bottom plate of a transfer paper storage cassette together with the bottom plate of the copying machine in one body. CONSTITUTION:The transfer paper storage cassette 1 is incorporated in the copying machine body 10 in one-body structure and the bottom plate of the cassette 1 serves as the bottom plate 2' of the copying machine body. To supplement transfer paper PR, uniformly stack sheets of transfer paper PR are loaded through an opening part 9 made in a flank of the copying machine body. The sheets of transfer paper PR are held so that one end of each sheet is as high as the upper side of the transfer paper storage part. A paper feed roll 6 rotates to separate only one sheet of transfer paper PR from a retaining pawl and the sheet is conveyed to a resist roller 7. Each sheet of transfer paper is carried to a photosensitive drum 8 by the resist roller 7 and passed through a transfer charger part 11 for transfer, and the paper is then discharged out of the machine by a discharge roller 12.</p> |
