PURPOSE:To minimize the ineffective data, by using two storage means alternately for the control coefficient for maintenance of data receiving state and using the previous control coefficient to receive the data after a short break of a receiving carrier. CONSTITUTION:An MODEM performs the reequalization of an equalizer, the establishment of synchronism, etc. with the control coefficient added to each receiving data and then receives the following data. Two storage means A and B store the control coefficient alternately. Now a control coefficient Km is stored in the means A when the n-th MODEM is working, and a comparatively long short break occurs like t11-t12 when the following data is received. Then the means A is turned off to clear mistakenly the coefficient Kn. As a result, the MODEM receives the data t12-t13 obtained after the short break is restored by using the previous control coefficient Kn-1 which is stored in the means B. |
