PURPOSE:To increase the delivery, to reduce the scorch and to save the energy, by measuring the temperature of a melted resin by temperature measuring elements of a hollow screw to determine a setting temperature, and controlling the temperature of a cylinder based upon said setting temperature. CONSTITUTION:The temperature of a melted resin is directly measured at the surface of the hollow screw 9, and based upon the measured temperature, the desired temperature of the melted resin, and parameters including the rotational frequency of the hollow screw 9, etc., the setting temperature for controlling the temperature of a cylinder 2 is determined. By this setting temperature the temperature of the cylinder 2 is con trolled so that the temperature of the melted resin measured at the surface of the hollow screw may be at the desired resin temperature. Accordingly, the cycling phenomenon of the temperature of the melted resin due to the time lag of the heat passing through the cylinder 2 can be minimized, and the width of the fluctuation of the temperature of the melted resin due to the passage of time can be reduced. |
