PURPOSE:To improve the returning of oil at high speed operation, by utilizing pulsating pressure generated in a crank chamber to circulate air and forcibly returning the oil accumulated in the recessed part of a partitioning plate through this circulative air flow to the side of an oil pan. CONSTITUTION:At operation of an engine, when a piston 6 vertically performs reciprocating motion, pulsating pressure due to positively and negatively changing pressure is generated in a crank chamber 3. Air is circulated mutually between the chamber 3 and oil pan 7 by the pulsating pressure in said chamber 3. Here a hole 22 is opened to the bottom of a recessed part 21, in which oil is accumulated after lubrication, and the oil can be discharged with the air. In this way, at each time of positive pulsating pressure in the chamber 3, the oil in the part 21 of a partitioning wall 20 is forcibly returned to a side of the oil pan 7 via the hole 22, at high speed operation, a forcibly returned amount of oil is also increased as a quantity of lubricating oil increases. |
