PURPOSE:To obtain efficient pump operation by a method wherein a piston is reciprocated by the rotation of a driving shaft through an eccentric cam to send oil in a main pump chamber forcibly into a sub pump chamber and discharge liquid by operating the diaphragm in the chamber. CONSTITUTION:When the eccentric cam 4 is rotated by rotating the driving shaft 3 by a motor or the like, the piston 5 is reciprocated and the oil in the main pump chamber 2 is sucked into a piston hole 14 through a communicating hole 9 and a sucking recessed arced groove 8 upon descending of the piston 5. Upon the ascending of the piston 5, the oil, increased in the hydraulic pressure thereof by closing the communicating hole 9 with the outer surface of the eccentric cam 4, where the recessed arced groove 8 is not existing, is sent into the lower surface of the diaphragm 13 forcibly through a bridge path 15. According to this operation, the diaphragm 13 is inflated upwardly and the working fluid, being sucked into the sub pump chamber 12 upon a previous stroke, is discharged through a non-return valve 40 and a connecting path 19 for discharging. |
