PURPOSE:To improve the thermal efficiency by a structure wherein obstacles to turn the stream of heat transfer medium into turbulent flow are provided in heat transfer medium passages. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve 1 is fitted onto two right and left bodies of bosses 2 and 3 and fixed thereto by welds 4. A gap is provided between the outer surface of the boss central portion 3b of the boss 3 and the inner surface of the sleeve 1 so as to form the heat transfer medium passages 9. In the heat transfer medium passages 9, projections 10, which turn the stream of the heat transfer medium into turbulent flow, are provided in staggered arrangement over the outer peripheral surface of the boss central portion 3b. Because the stream of the heat transfer medium is turned into turbulent flow by means of the projecting obstacles formed in the heat transfer medium passage, the heat quantity of the heat transfer medium is extremely efficiently transmitted to the outside of the sleeve 1. |
