<p>INSULATION ANCHOR A high temperature insulating construction for supporting an insulation panel or blanket on a structural supporting member such as a furnace wall which includes a first metallic stud attached to the structural supporting member and a second metallic stud forming an extension of the first metallic stud. The first metallic stud has anchor-engaging notches thereon and the second metallic stud has a tube portion which slidably encircles the first metallic stud and a notchengaging portion which is adapted to be moved into engagement with one of the anchor-engaging notches on the first metallic stud to retain the second metallic stud in a selected position with respect to the first metallic stud.</p>
