PURPOSE:To both suppress the change of air fuel ratio and obtain stable idling operation, by communicating fuel passages in upstream and downstream sides of a metering jet, which measures fuel cooperatively with a needle connected to a suction piston, through a bypass passage. CONSTITUTION:The captioned carburetor is operated in such a manner that a suction piston 3 moves in an intake passage 2 in accordance with an intake air quantity to decrease area of a Venturi part 8 while a needle 4 connected to said piston 3 intrudes into a fuel passage 20 to measure fuel cooperatively with a metering jet 21. Then the passage 20 is communicated to a float chamber 7 through a bypass pipe 22 in the upstream side of the jet 21. Here the passage 20 in the upstream and downstream of the jet 21 is communicated through a bypass passage 24. Then a jet 25 is inserted in an intermediate part 24a of the passage 24, further the upper end of an outflow part 24c is communicated in the passage 2 in the upstream of said piston 3 through an air bleed passage 27 and jet 28. |
