PURPOSE:To reliably detect a deceleration condition with a simple device by detecting the deceleration condition based on the comparison result between the actual basic valve opening pulse width determined by the engine speed and intake air quantity and the preset pulse width and the comparison result between the engine speed and its preset value. CONSTITUTION:Output signals from the engine speed sensor 12, water temperature sensor 14, intake air quantity sensor 16, etc. are input into a micro-computer 10, and the actual basic valve opening pulse width TP is calculated from the intake air quantity Q and engine speed N by this micro-computer. The preset basic valve opening pulse width TP(N) previously determined in response to the engine speed N is stored in the ROM contained in the micro-computer 10, and the preset basic valve opening pulse width TP(N) is compared with the actual basic valve opening pulse width TP. If TP<TP(N) and the engine speed N is larger than the preset engine speed, the operation condition is judged to be under deceleration, and the action of a solenoid fuel injection valve 18 is controlled to stop essentially. |
