FIBER STRUCTURE HAVING DEODORIZING PROPERTY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fiber structure capable of exhibiting excellent deodorizing effects when brought into contact with a low-volatile odorous substance in a gaseous state. SOLUTION: This fiber structure comprises a deodorant component and the deodorization ratio after at least 2 hours from the contact of the low-volatile odorous substance in a gaseous state with the fiber structure is >=60%. The deodorization ratio is calculated according to determination of the odorous gas concentration by a gas chromatographic method using the resultant odorous gas obtained by forcedly vaporizing the low-volatile odorous substance in a liquid state under reduced pressure.
