ELECTROACOUSTIC DIAPHRAGM

PURPOSE:To obtain an electroacoustic diaphragm which is light-weight and has a large internal loss and a properly high coefficient of elasticity and is superior in mechanical strength, by impregnating a laminated mica sheet and a woven cloth with a thermosetting resin or a photosetting resin and hardening them as one body. CONSTITUTION:The woven cloth is stuck to the laminated mica sheet with the thermosetting resin component or a photosetting resin component, and they are formed to a shape of an electroacoustic diaphragm. After sticking, the resin component is semihardened and is formed as a prepreg. The electroacoustic diaphragm formed in this manner is light-weight and has a large internal loss and a properly high coefficient of elasticity and is superior in mechanical strength.
