摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a speed change mechanism in which when the shift rod is shifted to the fifth speed stage, a pin supported on a control rod falls in a cam groove, and both are not disengaged from each other if the shift rod is not selected to be at a neutral position so as to prevent misshift. CONSTITUTION:The right end portion of a control rod 13 is provided with a cylindrical portion 28 diametrically formed thereon in which a pin 26 is fitted, and the pin is urged to be in collision with the inner peripheral surface of a shaft hole of an end wall 12 by a spring 27. The left end portion of a guide cylinder 7 is provided with a circular cam 10 supported in such a manner as to turn within a predetermined range and not to slide axially. A projecting piece 10a is disposed on the outer peripheral surface of the cam 10 to be integral therewith, so that the cam 10 can be turned within a groove 31 mounted on the inner peripheral surface 7a of a guide cylinder 7 supporting the cam 10. The control rod 13 is fitted in the cam 10, and the pin 26 is engaged with a cam groove 32 mounted on the inner peripheral surface of the cam.
