1. Device for detecting the piston position of a cylinder which comprises a cylinder tube (2) having at least one end wall and a piston (16) arranged in the cylinder tube (2) so that it can be displaced in the direction of its longitudinal axis, having the following features : a) the piston (16) and/or piston rod (13) optionally connected to the piston consists, at least partially, of a magnetisable material ; b) the cylinder tube (2) consists, at least in the region through which the piston (16) and/or the piston rod (13) travel(s), of a non-magnetisable material ; c) the piston (16) and/or the piston rod (13) so cooperate(s) with an inductance coil (5, 6) arranged externally of the cylinder (2) that a change in the piston position brings about a change in the inductance of the coil : characterized in that the cylinder tube (2) is surrounded over at least a portion of its axial extent on its periphery by the coil winding (6) of the inductance coil (5, 6). |
