PURPOSE:To compensate the attenuation of light owing to factors other than smoke and enable stable detection operation to be performed by dividing the inside of a housing longitudinally in two compartments, and disposing a light emitting device in the focal position of one of parabolic face mirrors and a photo detector on the other.
