PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor that reliably connects a pig tail and a terminal after securing electric conductivity by preventing the breakage of the pig tail. SOLUTION: The electric motor comprises a brush which feeds electricity to an armature coil, and a terminal holder 33 which extends along the axial direction of a yoke, and to which the terminal 42 for connecting the brush and an external power supply is held. The motor is also characterized in that the terminal 42 and the brush are connected via the pig tail 37, one end of the terminal 42 is formed so as to be bendable as a pressing piece 51, and the pig tail 37 is sandwiched between the pressing piece 51 and the terminal holder 33.
