<p>The collector is comprised of an assembly of pipes (3) forming large meshes, on which are arranged heat conveying metal sheets (4). Each metal sheet has two veins (6) transversal to the axis of the pipe and inclined with respect to the plane of the assembly (7). The veins of two adjacent metal sheets project on the assembly plane by different sides. By means of such collector construction, more heat is drawn off from the air than with a plane surface, since the air stream embraces the heat conveyor metal sheets on both sides; since the veins are arranged in different directions, the stream becomes turbulent: a higher output is thereby obtained.</p> |
