On a shoe with a wedged heel there are a number of springs (14) mounted between its lower sole (11) and upper sole (10). In order to prevent the springs from remaining pressed together after one has stepped into the shoe and laced it, a locking device is placed in the space, between the upper(10) and lower soles (11). The device is comprised of an axle (15) situated along the lower sole and equipped with side-directed locking pin (16). With the aid of a handle located outside of the heel (17) the pin (16) can be swung between a lowered position out toward the lower sole, to a raised position where they are supported against the upper sole (10).<IMAGE> |
